‘When two become one’ is more involved than the spice girls would have you believe. Brand mergers involve a delicate balance of cultures and communication styles, but this one needed to make a splash too.
The pharmaceutical world is full of expert, niche service providers. So when two leaders in regulatory and commercialisation came together to create one wider offering, we were asked to create a brand that not only has to balance the two existing brands, but needs to get them noticed by the industry.
We started by creating a set of brand foundations that aligned both businesses and gave the new organisation a set of strong brand statements which is vital in a complex and competitive market.
The brief was to create a bright look that stood out amongst the sea of “blah” in the market place. The creation of the icon gave use a device that we could develop as a graphic language and style for the new business. It allowed us to create an Assion look for every image.
The final output enabled Assion to launch with fervour and start to build a pipeline of project work almost immediately.
